The owner treats you like straight-up family, the staff is exceptionally friendly, and the entire kitchen and dining area are spotless. ​Here’s what you need to get when you pull up: ​🥪 Torta Cubana: Hands down one of the best tortas I’ve had in a MINUTE. The bread is soft and toasted to perfection, and the pork is incredibly fresh and well-seasoned, paired with chicken, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and pickled jalapeños. Knowing the owner’s mom was inspired by a torta in TJ and created her own signature version makes it even better. Easily their showcase item! ​🍓 Fruity Fruity Yogurt ($9.99): Housemade yogurt loaded with oranges, apples, papayas, strawberries, pineapple, and banana. The best part? They slice all the fresh fruit right in front of you when you order!
